About the Role

We are searching for a highly versatile and self-directed Mechatronics Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. This role is central to the development and optimization of complex robotic and automated systems. You will be instrumental in driving projects from the initial concept phase through to final implementation, leveraging a multidisciplinary approach encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deploy complex prototype hardware.
  • Strong foundation and ability to switch between mechanical, electrical, and control/software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360) and generating detailed engineering drawings/BOMs.
  • Proven experience in project planning and managing technical tasks autonomously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with robotics or complex automated systems is highly desirable.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  1. Educationally Strong: Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
  2. Hands-On Prototype Builder: Has proven experience developing, testing, and deploying complex prototype hardware, not just theoretical knowledge.
  3. Multidisciplinary Engineer: Can switch seamlessly between mechanical design, electronics, and control/software engineering tasks.
  4. Strong 3D CAD Expertise: Highly proficient in SolidWorks, Creo, or Fusion 360, and can produce detailed engineering drawings and BOMs.
  5. Autonomous Project Driver: Capable of independently planning, executing, and managing technical tasks with minimal supervision.
  6. Excellent Problem Solver: Brings a creative, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset to overcome engineering challenges.
  7. Robotics/Automation Enthusiast: Has hands-on exposure to robotics or complex automated systems, ideally in real-world applications.
  8. Versatile and Self-Directed: Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking full ownership from concept to implementation.

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year
