Position Overview: MERN Stack Developer
IDEAON is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MERN Developer for a long-term onsite position in Newark, California. This role is specifically targeted toward local candidates in California who can commute to the Newark facility. As a MERN Developer, you will be responsible for the development of high-quality web applications, ensuring seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components. This is a long-term engagement offering the opportunity to work on complex, scalable systems within a dynamic professional environment.
Core Technical Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, ReactJS, and NodeJS). You will be responsible for both client-side and server-side logic.
- Database Management: Implement and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimized query performance for high-traffic applications.
- API Architecture: Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support front-end functionality.
- Front-End Excellence: Create highly responsive and interactive user interfaces using ReactJS. You will ensure that the application is optimized for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Code Quality and Collaboration: Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous testing and peer reviews. You will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate must have extensive experience with the MERN stack. Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.JS, ReactJS, and NodeJS is non-negotiable. Beyond technical prowess, we are looking for individuals with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as this role requires frequent interaction with cross-functional teams. You should be adept at problem-solving and have a keen eye for detail.
