Position Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Microsoft Azure AD Identity Engineer (IAM) to support a major initiative for our client, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), based in Tampa, Florida. This role is pivotal in modernizing identity management systems, specifically focusing on the migration from legacy ForgeRock environments to Microsoft Entra ID. As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist, you will be at the forefront of securing enterprise digital identities in a cloud-first world.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead technical design sessions and workshops to define migration strategies from ForgeRock OpenAM to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Execute technical migration activities, including the reconfiguration of Single Sign-On (SSO), federation setups, and complex API integrations.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and application development teams to ensure seamless IAM implementation.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for identity federation, modern authentication protocols, and Entra ID governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical challenges throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, migration plans, and status reports that meet rigorous quality standards.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in decision-making processes related to IAM architecture and testing.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in IAM.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ForgeRock OpenAM.
- Extensive expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration and migration paths.
- Deep knowledge of modern protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python to automate IAM workflows and lifecycle management.
- Experience working within an Agile/DevOps environment, including familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and influence stakeholders.
- A Graduate degree in a relevant technical field is required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with global delivery models and working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Knowledge of broader Azure security services and cloud infrastructure.
- Certifications in Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) or similar ForgeRock credentials.
This is a long-term contract opportunity in Tampa, FL, offering a chance to work with a global leader in IT services. The project involves high-visibility migration work that is essential for the client’s security posture in 2026.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
