Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Functional Consultant with specialized expertise in Great Plains (GP) ERP systems for a critical project based in Napa, California. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the ERP and CRM ecosystems are perfectly aligned to support organizational goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end functional lifecycle of these systems, from initial troubleshooting to complex configuration and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive functional and technical support for Great Plains ERP modules, ensuring high availability and performance for all financial operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, collaborating closely with onshore and offshore teams to provide rapid resolutions and minimize downtime.
- Lead system upgrades, applying patches and managing configuration changes to maintain system integrity and security.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and custom reports to provide actionable business intelligence and support client operations.
- Support end-users ranging from basic error resolution to the configuration of advanced workflows, custom reports, and complex integrations.
- Ensure all system modifications comply with client-specific documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Great Plains ERP.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 to 8+ years of professional experience in IT, specifically within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
- At least 5 years of dedicated experience in Great Plains ERP support, maintenance, and implementation.
- Deep understanding of financial modules and the integration points between CRM and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a global delivery model, coordinating with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization and process improvement.
Technical Environment
The successful candidate will work within a robust environment featuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and Great Plains ERP. Proficiency in SQL Server, reporting tools, and workflow automation is essential. You will be responsible for maintaining the health of these systems while driving continuous improvement through technical excellence and functional insight. Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
