Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join an existing team, supporting an existing application platform and contributing to modernization enhancement efforts. This role involves assessing needs, developing solutions, and configuring software, apps, custom solutions, and new applications using Microsoft Dynamics. The developer will ensure seamless integration with current systems and provide testing support through deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing needs and developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics.
- Understanding the operational and IT needs of OPWDD/ITS.
- Designing, developing, and configuring software, apps, custom solutions, and new applications using Microsoft Dynamics.
- Understanding how organizational systems communicate and integrating new enhancements with current systems.
- Testing developments through deployments and change/release management cycles.
- Creating documentation for the current system and applied patches.
- Providing extended support for post-deployment issues.
- Providing ongoing maintenance support.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
Required Skills:
- Experience programming in MS Dynamics 365.
- Proficiency in programming languages, integration tools, data modeling, web services, UI/UX design, and data visualization.
- Fluent in Cloud Technologies.
- Knowledge of web security.
Preferred Credentials/Certifications:
- 6+ years working in an MS Dynamics 365 environment.
- Extensive experience with SQL databases.
- Testing and troubleshooting experience.
Location and Work Arrangement:
- Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid).
- Remote work is possible, but one week onsite in Albany per year is required.
- If located outside the Albany area, travel for one week onsite in Albany every year is required.
- Expenses for the onsite week will be paid by the client.
Special Requirements

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
