Position Overview
VST Consulting is looking for a seasoned Microsoft Fabric Engineer / Data Engineer to join our growing data practice in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be at the forefront of modern data architecture, designing and building end-to-end solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform. You will be responsible for the integration of diverse data sources, the construction of scalable pipelines, and the enablement of real-time analytics to drive business intelligence across the enterprise.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Data Factory and Lakehouse architectures.
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines to support high-volume data ingestion and transformation.
- Develop and manage Delta tables to ensure data consistency and performance across the analytics layer.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable technical designs.
- Support enterprise-wide business intelligence initiatives by integrating Power BI with Fabric-based data sources.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are maintained throughout the data lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering issues in a production environment.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on enterprise-scale environments.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with the Microsoft Fabric platform.
- Deep expertise in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Lakehouse architecture.
- Proficiency in working with Delta tables and implementing enterprise data engineering best practices.
- Strong understanding of SQL, Python, or Spark for data processing and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
