Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Middleware Administrator with a strong background in IIS and JBOSS to join our infrastructure team. This is a critical onsite role based in either Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of our enterprise middleware stack, supporting high-traffic applications and complex integration workflows. This role requires a proactive professional capable of managing large-scale environments and providing expert-level troubleshooting for production-grade systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, configure, patch, and maintain a diverse range of middleware technologies including WebLogic, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, and IIS.
- Provide 24×7 L2/L3 production support for critical integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime for business-critical applications.
- Monitor application performance, server health, and messaging queues using enterprise tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, including the analysis of thread dumps, heap dumps, connection pooling issues, and JVM memory leaks.
- Manage BizTalk server groups, including the configuration of host instances, adapters, and MessageBox databases.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical support tickets within established SLAs, performing thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all major incidents.
- Support the integration of Adobe Document Generation API and AEM with various enterprise applications.
- Resolve document generation failures, template mapping issues, and API connectivity problems.
- Ensure strict compliance with security standards, including SSL/TLS certificate management for document processing and data transit.
- Coordinate with internal developers and external vendors to implement permanent fixes and system optimizations.
- Automate operational tasks and deployment workflows to improve overall system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Technical Qualifications
- Extensive experience with middleware technologies including IIS, JBOSS, MuleSoft, and BizTalk.
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing multiple domains, including Admin Servers and Managed Servers across various environments.
- Experience deploying WAR and EAR applications on targeted servers within clustered environments.
- In-depth knowledge of JMS Servers, Queues, and Topics.
- Strong background in providing support for Oracle Application and WebLogic environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline middleware operations.

Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ. Requires 24×7 L2/L3 production support availability.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $118,000 – $162,000 per year (Estimated)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
