Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Middleware Support Engineer with strong Python and AWS skills to join our team. This role involves supporting and troubleshooting middleware systems, primarily focusing on Python and AWS Lambda. The position offers a hybrid work environment in Des Moines, Iowa, and is open to relocation candidates. We are looking for individuals with a strong troubleshooting mindset, a proactive learning attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and troubleshooting for middleware systems.
- Utilize Python as the primary programming language for development and support tasks.
- Leverage AWS services, specifically Lambda, for cloud-based solutions.
- Engage in debugging and problem-solving to resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operation.
- Document processes and solutions related to middleware support.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and new technologies.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (primary programming language).
- Experience with AWS, particularly Lambda.
- Proven experience in middleware support and troubleshooting.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Background:
- Engineering background is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with multiple interconnected systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
