Job Title: Mobile Application Architect .NET Azure Modernization (Mobile Focus, MAUI Preferred)
Location: Remote
What a great candidate looks like:
- Proven track record of System modernization – namely within the .NET / Azure space
- They have a very strong Mobile App lead they can pair with, but if they have MAUI experience – all the better
- Top tier critical thinking skills and ability to turn ambiguity into clarity / actionable plans
- This space is historic spaghetti with many partners they need someone who thrives on driving clarity and action
- Passion to modernize while staying pragmatic about Business needs
- Would love to say no new features until all modernization is done but thats not possible based on the large programs above this person will need to balance that out
- Also do not want someone who will just take the path of least resistance and get it done to get it done without a thoughtful approach to how it will be done correctly either now or in the future
Submittal Requirements:
- 3-5 Must Haves (need to be highlighted in sizzle & present on resume)
- Proven Software Application Architecture experience
- Strong experience with modernization projects within the .Net/Azure Space
- Mobile application experience ideally with Maui experience
- Must be a highly technical Architect
Job Description:
The Software Architect will have two main focuses. They will be responsible for application architecture for a front end and back-end modernization effort for an internal employee facing mobile application. They will also be responsible for taking on other large-scale project work related to the overhaul and system design of other internal systems.
The architect will work with both internal technical teams as well as working closely with vendors and vendor teams.
Required Experience:
- Proven track record of System/ Application modernization within the .Net/Azure space
- Strong experience in Microservices including orchestration and understanding the end-to-end data flow. Understanding read side issues and resiliency and failure handling on the write side.
- Must be a critical thinker with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, actionable plans
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Cloud stack including backend C# and Azure Cloud Services
- Must have proven system design experience
- Experience creating and representing artifacts at Architecture Review Boards including architecture decision records and specifications including full C4 programming
- Mobile application experience is also required
- Experience with Maui is strongly preferred
- Must be an exceptional communicator who is comfortable working with technical and non-technical team members
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $70 per year
