Role Overview
Source Infotech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mobile Developer with a specialized focus on iOS and React Native to join our dynamic engineering team in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is a critical role designed for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performance, scalable mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences across iOS, iPad, and Android platforms. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, from initial concept and architectural design to deployment and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, with a primary emphasis on the iOS and iPad ecosystems.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and internal coding standards to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate complex wireframes and prototypes into responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing mobile interfaces.
- Integrate complex RESTful APIs, native modules, and third-party libraries to enhance application functionality and ensure seamless data synchronization with backend services.
- Implement comprehensive unit testing and automated testing strategies using frameworks such as Jest and Detox to guarantee application reliability, stability, and peak performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and device-specific issues to maintain a high standard of quality across a diverse range of mobile hardware.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical requirements, architectural decisions, and updates within the project backlog to ensure transparency and alignment across the development lifecycle.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in mobile application development with a strong portfolio of React Native projects.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and a solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Extensive experience specifically targeting iOS and iPad platforms, including knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and App Store submission processes.
- Proficiency in state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or similar architectures.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to manage tasks effectively within a structured backlog environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating technical risks.
Relocation and Compliance
This position requires the successful candidate to relocate to Bentonville, AR, and be available on-site from Day 1. Candidates must be prepared to provide a copy of their passport as part of the compliance and onboarding process. Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
