Role Overview

The Mobile Engineer is a critical position responsible for the end-to-end development, implementation, maintenance, and deployment of high-performance mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile architecture and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional mobile features. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who stays current with the latest mobile technologies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative mobile products, applications, and communication protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile development terminology, concepts, and architectural patterns.
  • Collaborate with design and product colleagues to iterate on app functionality and user interface design.
  • Review and integrate mobile services such as O365, OneDrive for Business, and Cisco Webex into the mobile ecosystem.
  • Evaluate third-party applications for mobile deployment readiness and conduct functionality reviews with business partners.
  • Analyze and resolve inconsistencies within internal systems that impact the customer experience.
  • Propose process improvements and performance optimizations for the mobile application stack.
  • Contribute to the long-term Mobile Roadmap based on evolving business needs and emerging IT technologies.

Technical Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record of writing clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Strong expertise in iOS application development is mandatory; Android experience is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience integrating mobile applications with complex backend services and APIs.
  • Deep understanding of iOS best practices, design principles, and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience making critical architectural decisions and providing technical leadership to development teams.
  • Ability to interpret technical plans and adhere to roadmap timelines effectively.

General Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in object-oriented design principles and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience in project management methodologies and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload to meet strict implementation schedules and minimize conflicts.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

Work Environment and Locations

This is a hybrid role offering flexibility while requiring periodic onsite collaboration. Special Requirements

Hybrid work model. Multiple locations available across the US including GA, NC, IL, PA, TX, CO, ND, NY, KS, NJ, TN.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Alpharetta, GA
