Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mobile QA Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and provide timely feedback.
  • Automate test cases using XCUITest and Espresso frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies and testing trends.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Mobile QA Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in mobile testing frameworks such as XCUITest and Android Espresso.
  • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android).
  • Experience with API testing and mobile backend services.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Palo Alto, CA
