Job Title: Modem Test Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Modem Test Engineer with a strong background in 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipset or device (UE) Protocol conformance, performance, and interoperability testing. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on testing experience and a deep understanding of 3GPP and Carrier specifications for LTE and NR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans targeting 5G NR and LTE L2/L3 protocol features (RLC, PDCP, MAC, RRC, NAS).
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in UE/network protocol interactions using expertise in 3GPP/IMS Protocol call flows.
- Isolate complex issues across multiple protocol layers and identify root causes using trace analysis tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and drive testing activities.
- Gain hands-on experience with test equipment for GCF, PTCRB, Carrier certification (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
- Experience with Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) testing is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on testing experience in 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipset or device (UE) Protocol conformance, performance, and interoperability.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP and Carrier specifications for LTE and NR.
- Expertise in 3GPP/IMS Protocol call flows.
- Ability to isolate complex issues and identify root causes.
- Experience with test equipment for GCF, PTCRB, Carrier certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) testing experience.
- Experience with Modem Chipsets like Qualcomm, MediaTek, Samsung, Intel.
- Experience with Mobile devices like iPhone, Samsung, LG, Moto.
- Experience in Protocol testing, Conformance testing, and Protocol level Testing.
- Experience on Log Analysis and Debugging.
Work Environment:
- This is a 5 Days Onsite Required position in MTV, CA.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
Location: Mountain View, CA
