Role Description:

  • Support MS SQL Server databases, providing 24×7 support for the MS SQL Server environment.
  • Includes upgrade, patching, troubleshooting, cloning, and working with application teams and business customers.
  • Troubleshoots and problem-solves SQL development and SQL server production issues.
  • Provides database support to users and application developers by researching database problems, conducting SQL reviews, and developing queries.
  • Creates and automates monitoring functionality in SQL to identify potential problems and provide proactive solutions.
  • Manages SQL server security.
  • Creates, sets up, and monitors all SQL server jobs.
  • Responsible for installing the SQL Server database instances in all environments, including but not limited to development, QA, and Production.

Compensation & Location
