Role Overview
Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated nCino Developer for a long-term remote contract position. This role is designed for a technical professional who possesses deep functional and technical knowledge of the nCino Commercial Loan Origination System (CLOS). As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions that streamline the commercial loan origination process for our financial services clients. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the nCino platform is optimized to meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities and nCino Expertise
The successful candidate will demonstrate mastery over the nCino ecosystem, specifically focusing on the following modules and processes:
- Loan Processing Stages: Configuring and customizing the end-to-end loan lifecycle to ensure efficient workflow transitions.
- Collateral Management: Implementing robust tracking and management systems for various collateral types within the nCino framework.
- Covenant Management: Developing automated tracking for financial and non-financial covenants to ensure compliance.
- Change Memo and Deal Structure: Customizing deal structures and change memo processes to accommodate complex lending scenarios.
- Product and Screen Configuration: Utilizing the nCino UI/UX framework to create intuitive interfaces for credit officers and relationship managers.
Salesforce Technical Requirements
Since nCino is built on the Salesforce platform, advanced Salesforce development skills are mandatory. You will be expected to:
- Develop high-quality, scalable code using Apex Triggers and Classes.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Design complex automation logic using Salesforce Flows and Process Builder.
- Manage system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs to connect nCino with external core banking systems and credit bureaus.
- Maintain best practices for security, governor limits, and code maintainability.
Professional Skills and Collaboration
Beyond technical prowess, this role requires a consultant-level mindset. You must be self-driven and capable of working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. You will be expected to manage your development tasks from inception through testing and deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with industry standards.
