Role Overview
The nCino Solution Architect is a critical leadership position responsible for bridging the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical solutions within the commercial banking sector. As financial institutions continue to modernize their lending platforms, the need for a robust, scalable, and user-centric architecture has never been greater. This role involves partnering with key business stakeholders, system owners, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and implement solutions that leverage the full power of the nCino Bank Operating System. The successful candidate will provide on-the-spot solution guidance, ensuring that technical designs align with long-term business goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and validate end-to-end solution designs for commercial loan origination processes.
- Lead discovery sessions with business teams to translate functional needs into technical specifications.
- Provide real-time solution recommendations during stakeholder meetings to accelerate decision-making.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of key nCino modules, including Loan Processing Stages, Collateral Management, and Covenant Management.
- Design complex deal structures and product configurations to support diverse lending products.
- Manage data mapping and system integrations between nCino and upstream/downstream enterprise systems.
- Ensure the technical integrity of the Salesforce platform, utilizing Aura, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Mentor technical teams and provide oversight on code quality and architectural standards.
Technical and Functional Expertise
The ideal candidate must possess deep functional knowledge of nCino Commercial Loan Origination. This includes hands-on experience with Change Memos, Screen Configuration, and Syndication for both agented and non-agented loan deals. From a technical perspective, proficiency in the Salesforce ecosystem is mandatory. You will be expected to architect solutions using Salesforce VisualForce and modern Lightning frameworks. A strong understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies is essential for ensuring seamless data flow across the banking ecosystem.

As a Solution Architect, you are expected to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining a high level of credibility with engineering teams. You will be the primary point of contact for architectural decisions, requiring a balance of technical depth and strategic vision to drive successful project outcomes.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $190,000 – $270,000 per year (Estimated)
