Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Neo4J Developer with a strong background in investment banking and financial services to join our team for a long-term consulting opportunity. This role requires deep expertise in Neo4j development, focusing on solving business-centric problems by leveraging out-of-the-box Neo4j algorithms. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data ingestion, query performance tuning, and the full SDLC, with a proven ability to work with business users to address complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Neo4j solutions to solve business-centric problems, utilizing Neo4j’s native algorithms and capabilities.
- Write and optimize complex Neo4j Cypher queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Perform query performance tuning by adopting optimization techniques such as indexing and data modeling.
- Engage with business users, particularly in Fraud, AML, and related domains, to understand their needs and translate them into effective Neo4j solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including business requirements analysis, data analysis, data architecture/modeling, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Neo4j solutions into existing systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach in all interactions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Overall Work Experience: 8+ years of overall work experience in the US.
- Neo4j Expertise: 5+ years of experience specifically with Neo4j Graph database.
- Querying Skills: Strong proficiency in Neo4j Cypher Queries and effective usage of out-of-the-box Neo4j algorithms.
- Performance Tuning: Ability to perform query performance tuning using optimization techniques like Indexes and modeling.
- SDLC Experience: Experience working across all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, data analysis, data architecture/modeling, development, testing, and deployment.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience working with Fraud, AML, and similar business users in solving business problems.
- Data Analytics: Strong Data Analytics skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach.
- Industry Background: Need solid investment banking industry background.

Compensation & Location
