Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Architect with a strong background in AWS migration and modernization. This role requires a deep understanding of C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8, along with extensive experience in microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in modernizing legacy .NET applications and migrating them to the cloud, leveraging a wide array of AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the migration of legacy .NET applications to modern cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Design and implement robust microservices architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using technologies like SQS and SNS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Design and manage database solutions using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Ensure high-quality code through comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Apply architectural patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- 12+ years of professional experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8.
- Proven experience in modernizing legacy .NET applications.
- Extensive hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Deep expertise in AWS services: Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DynamoDB.
- Strong database skills with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience with testing tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Moq, and Testcontainers.
- Solid understanding of architectural patterns including DDD and Clean Architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Location: Fort Mill, SC / Austin, TX
- Employment Type: Day One Onsite / Hybrid (3-4 Days in a week)

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
