Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer / Architect with strong expertise in .NET, API design, Databricks, Apache Spark, and advanced SQL to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend systems and data platforms. The role involves building robust microservices, designing scalable data pipelines, and architecting data-driven applications.

Responsibilities

  • Backend Development
    • Design and develop scalable backend services using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core).
    • Build and maintain RESTful and event-driven APIs.
    • Implement microservices architecture for distributed systems.
    • Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend applications.
  • Data Engineering & Processing
    • Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Databricks.
    • Implement distributed data processing workflows using Apache Spark.
    • Handle high-volume datasets and ensure data reliability and integrity.
  • Database Architecture
    • Design, optimize, and maintain complex database systems.
    • Write advanced queries, stored procedures, and performance optimizations using SQL.
    • Implement indexing, partitioning, and query tuning for high performance.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in .NET / C# backend development.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
  • Experience building data pipelines and large-scale data processing systems.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.

Additional Information

  • This is a 12+ Months Contract position.
  • Requires 12 Years & More of experience.
  • Candidates must be local to Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
  • In-Person Interview Required.
  • Employment Type: 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote.

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
