Job Description
We are looking for a .NET Backend Engineer with strong fundamentals and daily coding experience in C#/.NET. The role involves working with microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. The candidate must have strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and sound engineering judgment.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Backend Language: C# / .NET (preferred). Java or Python are acceptable if the candidate has strong fundamentals and codes daily.
- Backend Architecture & APIs: Hands-on experience with microservices. Experience with distributed systems. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and principles.
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Databases & Data: MySQL and/or PostgreSQL. Intermediate SQL skills.
- Core Engineering Fundamentals (Very Important): Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code. Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., decorator and common OOP patterns). Sound engineering judgment and first-principles thinking.
Client Notes
The client typically hires from enterprise companies like Facebook, Netflix, Apple, Walmart, or from start-ups/mid-size companies with long tenure (4-5 years+). They do not hire for financial services or healthcare roles. Tesla is a .NET shop, but this role is not for Tesla.
Special Requirements

Compensation & Location
Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
