Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with expertise in microservices to join our team in Lisle, Illinois. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of designing and developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications. You will be instrumental in defining architecture and coding standards, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices-based applications using .NET / .NET Core.
- Define and enforce architecture standards, coding standards, and best practices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and technical design reviews.
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Implement service-to-service communication using REST, gRPC, and messaging patterns.
- Apply domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture principles.
- Ensure applications are scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in .NET / .NET Core development.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with service-to-service communication protocols (REST, gRPC, messaging).
- Solid understanding of domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Special Requirements
Must be local to IL. Hybrid work model.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
