Job Title: .NET Developer (Level III)
Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Technology team is seeking a .NET Developer (Level III) to join a highly collaborative Agile development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#, .NET technologies, backend services, and enterprise application development. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable multi-tier enterprise applications within a modern Agile environment. The developer will collaborate closely with business analysts, QA teams, and global development teams to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions within the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work within an Agile Scrum team as a full-stack developer contributing to application design and development.
- Develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design improvements.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by following development standards and best practices.
- Implement security guidelines and application development policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance problems.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge within the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming sessions, and sprint reviews.
- Build proof of concepts (PoCs) to evaluate and adopt new technologies and frameworks.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in software development using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
- Experience working with enterprise-level backend services and distributed applications.
- Hands-on experience with Java technologies including Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
- Experience developing multi-threaded and highly available applications.
- Practical experience working with relational databases (preferably DB2) and database integration layers.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with UNIX environments and scripting languages.
- Exposure to Autosys, Kafka, MQ, or other streaming technologies.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Angular.
- Experience working in Financial Services or Banking environments.
- Familiarity with JIRA or other ALM tools.
- Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
