Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join the New York State Office of Mental Health for a critical project involving the Decentralized List Management System, HRMS Rewrite, and other related initiatives. This is an expert-level position requiring a strong background in C#, ASP.NET, and web API development, with a focus on secure and efficient application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex applications using Microsoft Visual Studio with C#, ASP.NET, and Web API for n-tier web deployment.
- Build and maintain web applications utilizing modern front-end technologies including HTML5, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
- Design and implement database solutions using Oracle, including database design/modeling, PL/SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, and views.
- Integrate applications using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, including secure .NET web services (WCF), DLLs, SOAP/RESTful APIs, and message/queue processing.
- Manage source code using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GIT, implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient development workflows.
- Implement user provisioning, authentication, and authorization mechanisms using technologies like OKTA, LDAP, RSA, and Access Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with UI/UX teams, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Work with applications and data containing Protected Health Information (PHI) in a healthcare environment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and maintain systems related to Human Resource list management, adhering to Civil Service Guidelines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
