Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our engineering team. This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the full software development life cycle (SDLC). The role is primarily remote, though proximity to our Cedar Park, TX office is a plus for occasional team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Implement front-end components using modern frameworks such as Angular or React to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs and web services to integrate with internal and external systems.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain system stability.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute unit tests and integration tests.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in the .NET space to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including architectural designs and user manuals.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on the Microsoft stack. Required skills include expert-level proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core. Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM tools is essential. Candidates should have a deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Strong database skills with Microsoft SQL Server are a must. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is highly desirable. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a distributed team. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is typically required. Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
