About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled .Net Developer with strong AWS experience to join a long-term project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, coupled with hands-on experience in cloud-native development using AWS services. This role requires a candidate with a proven track record in financial services and experience handling large data volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy robust .NET applications, including modernizing legacy systems to .NET Core.
- Design and implement microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB for cloud-native solutions.
- Work with various database technologies including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices and tools like Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Write efficient and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure applications can handle large data volumes and integrate effectively with downstream systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- .NET Development: 5+ years of experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8.
- Cloud (AWS): Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Microservices & APIs: Strong understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Databases: Proficiency in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- DevOps: Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Testing: Familiarity with testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, Moq, and Testcontainers.
- Financial Services: Must have prior experience working within the financial services industry.
- Data Handling: Experience managing and processing large data volumes.
- Certifications: Certified in AWS Developer and Microsoft technologies is a plus.
