Job Title: .NET React Full Stack Developer
The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is seeking a skilled .NET React Full Stack Developer to modernize legacy applications. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week onsite in Lansing, MI, with a potential for extension beyond the initial 12 months. Candidates must be local to Michigan and available for in-person interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack applications.
- Build modern React-based front-end interfaces.
- Develop .NET/C# APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, testers, and business analysts.
- Adhere to clean coding standards and architecture best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and DevOps deployments.
Top Skills & Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Application Development.
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with React for front-end development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET / C# (API development and server-side logic).
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server.
Project Overview:
The MGCB is modernizing its legacy applications, which support compliance, security, registration, and responsible gaming databases. This initiative aims to reduce risks associated with end-of-life systems and ensure continued operational support by rebuilding applications with modern, supported technologies.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid role with no remote option.
- Onsite from Day 1.
- 2 days per week onsite in Lansing, MI.
- Candidates must be local to Michigan at the time of submission.
- Interviews will be conducted in person.
Important Compliance Note:
Selected candidates will not be permitted to participate in gambling activities (including online betting, sports betting, or casino gambling) within the State of Michigan or with companies licensed by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB).
