Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Senior SME (Subject Matter Expert) for an ongoing development project with one of our premier DC customers. This is a senior-level position requiring extensive experience in ETL, Back-End, Front-End development, and application design. The ideal candidate is well-versed in structured development methodologies, Agile practices, and release management techniques. You must possess deep expertise in software development within the .NET framework, real-time systems programming languages, software testing, and quality assurance. Proficiency in C#, VB .NET, and JavaScript is essential, along with strong experience in ASP.NET MVC 5, responsive design, and Web API. Excellent communication skills are paramount, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders by leveraging both technical and business comprehension.
Responsibilities:
- Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the technology requested.
- Develops technical applications to support users.
- Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
- Provides training for system products and procedures to other technical resources as needed.
- Performs application upgrades.
- Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
- Troubleshoots system issues as needed.
- Ensures project life cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 16+ years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle.
- 16+ years of experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
- 16+ years of Enterprise level .NET experience.
- Expert level experience in documenting business processes and flow.
- Experience aligning IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals.
- Experience delivering highly scalable architecture solutions that support mobile and web environments.
- Experienced in web technologies with mobile app design experience.
- Understanding of relational databases and strong SQL skills.
- Experience with large complex data sets.
Special Requirements
Hybrid (Candidates must be Local to the DMV area), Open to USC, GC, H1, Virtual Interview (client may switch to in-person)
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
Location: DMV Area, VA
