About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Senior SME (Subject Matter Expert) to join a premier DC customer for an existing development project. This role is critical for a candidate with extensive experience in ETL, Back-End, Front-End, application design, and development within the .NET framework. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional familiar with structured development methodologies, Agile practices, and release management techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the technology requested.
- Develop technical applications to support users.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
- Provide training for system products and procedures to other technical resources as needed.
- Perform application upgrades.
- Perform monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
- Troubleshoot system issues as needed.
- Ensure project life cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 16+ years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle.
- 16+ years of experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
- 16+ years of Enterprise level .NET experience.
- Expert level experience in documenting business processes and flow.
- Experience aligning IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals.
- Experience delivering highly scalable architecture solutions that support mobile and web environments.
- Experienced in web technologies with mobile app design experience.
- Understanding of relational databases and strong SQL skills.
- Experience with large complex data sets.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)
