Job Description:

We are seeking a .NET Software Architect to design and guide the development of our software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of .NET technologies, architectural patterns, and the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps for software solutions.
  • Deliver presentations on architectural designs and strategies to senior-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures using .NET and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and product capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software architecture.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Facilitate discussions and decision-making processes among technical and business stakeholders.
  • Understand and apply various system development life cycle methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Research and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of .NET framework and C#.
  • Proficiency in various database technologies such as SQL and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with front-end web development languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Deep understanding of various aspects of technology architecture, including integration, network, and security.
  • Knowledge of information principles and processes.
  • Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
  • Experience with modeling languages such as UML and ArchiMate.
  • Understanding of IT standards and controls.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an outsourced development environment.
  • Skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers in decision-making.
  • Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
