Job Description:
We are seeking a .NET Software Architect to design and guide the development of our software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of .NET technologies, architectural patterns, and the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps for software solutions.
- Deliver presentations on architectural designs and strategies to senior-level executives and technical audiences.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures using .NET and related technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and product capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software architecture.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of developed solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Facilitate discussions and decision-making processes among technical and business stakeholders.
- Understand and apply various system development life cycle methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
- Research and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Skills and Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of .NET framework and C#.
- Proficiency in various database technologies such as SQL and Oracle.
- Familiarity with front-end web development languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Deep understanding of various aspects of technology architecture, including integration, network, and security.
- Knowledge of information principles and processes.
- Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
- Experience with modeling languages such as UML and ArchiMate.
- Understanding of IT standards and controls.
- Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an outsourced development environment.
- Skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers in decision-making.
- Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
