About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced NetApp Storage Engineer with a strong background in enterprise storage, SAN infrastructure, and data management solutions. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing our client’s critical storage systems. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of NetApp technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform NetApp Storage Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain NFS and CIFS protocols for file sharing services.
- Implement and manage iSCSI storage solutions for block-level access.
- Administer Fibre Channel SAN environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Manage SAN fabric components and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Develop and implement Disaster Recovery and Backup strategies to ensure data resilience.
- Conduct Capacity Planning to forecast storage needs and prevent outages.
- Execute Data Migration and Storage Optimization tasks to improve efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support storage-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance on storage infrastructure best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- NetApp Storage Administration: Extensive experience with NetApp ONTAP, including configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Protocols: Strong proficiency in NFS and CIFS protocols.
- SAN Infrastructure: In-depth knowledge of iSCSI storage and Fibre Channel SAN environments.
- Fibre Channel: Experience with SAN fabric management and zoning.
- Data Management: Proven experience with Disaster Recovery & Backup Strategies and Data Migration techniques.
- Optimization: Expertise in Capacity Planning and Storage Optimization.
- Experience Level: Above 6+ years of relevant experience in storage engineering.
