Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for the design, implementation, and support of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating and validating implementation plans, migration plans, and testing plans for new projects. A key aspect of this role involves optimizing existing network designs and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support network infrastructure.
  • Develop and validate implementation, migration, and testing plans for new projects.
  • Optimize existing network designs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including major incidents (Priority Medium to Critical).
  • Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to identify and fix complex issues.
  • Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and provide timely solution updates.
  • Provide guidance and support to L1/L2 teams.
  • Coordinate with OEM support for technology assistance.
  • Update training and support documentation.

Technical Expertise Required:

  • Cisco Products: Expertise in Cisco Catalyst Switches (6500/4500), Nexus (7K/5K/2K), Cisco ACI (fabric configuration, EPGs, contracts, bridge domains), Cisco VXLAN solutions (spine-leaf architecture, EVPN control plane), and Cisco Wireless Controllers/Access Points.
  • Cisco ISE: Troubleshoot and resolve Cisco ISE issues related to authentication, authorization, and posture compliance. Optimize Cisco ISE policies.
  • Palo Alto Networks: Implement and configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls (physical and virtual). Implement firewall policies and rules based on security best practices. Manage VPNs (GPCS, IPsec, S2S) for secure remote access. Monitor firewall health using Palo Alto Networks Panorama.
  • Prisma SDWAN: Manage and configure Prisma SDWAN, implement network policies including traffic steering, QoS, and security.
  • F5 BIG-IP: Implement F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM solutions. Maintain F5 BIG-IP security policies, including Web Application Firewall (WAF). Optimize application performance by fine-tuning F5 BIG-IP configurations and iRules.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Cisco ACI, EVPN-VXLAN, ISE, GPCS, and Wi-Fi technologies.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Englewood Cliff, NJ
