Role: Network Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in IPv6 networking, cloud environments, and network automation. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience and possess deep technical expertise in routing, switching, and cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Top Technical Requirements (Must-Have)
- IPv6 Networking Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with IPv6 networking and validation. Deep understanding of dual-stack networking in cloud-native and enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP, MPLS VPNs, VXLAN, Multicast.
- Cloud Networking Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP networking. This includes AWS: VPC IPv6 addressing, Internet Gateway, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53. Azure: VNet IPv6, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Network Watcher. GCP: Cloud Routers, IPv6 Access, NAT64, Interconnect, VPC Flow Logs. Requires 4+ years working with Cloud PaaS/IaaS environments.
- Network Testing & Automation: Experience building lab environments, performing PoCs, and certifying hardware/software. Ability to develop test automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. Familiarity with Python network programming is preferred.
- Routing & Switching: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco platforms (IOS-XE, XR, NXOS). Knowledge of DMVPN, IPSec, and encryption standards.
Certifications & Experience
- CCIE/CCNP certification or equivalent level of expertise.
- Cloud certifications: AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, or GCP Cloud Network Engineer (desired).
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of network security hardening and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development.
This role requires the candidate to be available for in-person work in NYC, with a primary location in Alpharetta, GA.

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
