Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Arlington, Texas. This hybrid onsite position is critical for supporting, securing, and maintaining a complex multi-site network environment. The ideal candidate will possess an active CCNA Routing and Switching certification and have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level network systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for network issues, including physical layer troubleshooting, cable testing, and connectivity verification.
  • Perform advanced Cisco route and switch configurations and troubleshooting to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including logical diagrams, physical data flows, and configuration standards.
  • Execute routine and emergency network maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades, patching, and hardware replacements.
  • Assist with the physical installation of equipment, including rack and stack operations and structured cabling.
  • Support major events and infrastructure projects, which may require availability during nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Monitor network monitoring platforms for incidents and alerts, ensuring rapid response to potential outages.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on complex design and deployment initiatives across the enterprise.

Technical Requirements

  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Active CCNA certification is required; CCNP certification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP.
  • Proficiency in Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE, and legacy IOS environments.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco Meraki (3+ years required).
  • Strong understanding of switching technologies: VLANs, HSRP, DHCP, NAT, and STP.
  • Experience with physical plant management, including fiber optics and structured cabling.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Secure Network Analytics (Stealthwatch), SolarWinds, and Cisco Catalyst Center (SDA/ISE) is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ASA, Firepower, and FTD firewall technologies.

Special Requirements

Visa: USC and GC only. Hybrid Onsite in Arlington, TX. Requires active CCNA.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $45 – $53 per year

Location: Arlington, TX
