Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Network Security Analyst. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and security of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and threat detection and prevention techniques.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic for security breaches and suspicious activity.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Analyze security alerts and incidents, and respond to them in a timely manner.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Develop and update security policies and procedures.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of all systems.
- Document security incidents and resolutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Security Analyst or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
