Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with a robust background in data center networking (70%) and security (30%). The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking protocols and Cisco Nexus environments. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our client’s network infrastructure and security posture.
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus hardware.
- Hands-on experience with BGP, MPLS, IS-IS.
- Good knowledge of VXLAN (highly preferred).
- Experience in DMZ design, IPsec, Nexus vPC architecture.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN, SDN, EVPN, LDP, Segment Routing.
- Exposure to MacSEC and QoS traffic shaping.
Preferred Skills
- Wireless LAN Controllers.
- Arista VeloCloud / CloudVision.
- RADIUS.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions.
- Oversee data center networking operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, MPLS, and IS-IS.
- Implement and manage VXLAN for network segmentation and scalability.
- Develop and maintain DMZ designs and IPsec VPNs.
- Manage Nexus vPC architecture for high availability.
- Stay updated with emerging network security technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security and network requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance on network security issues.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.

- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $104,000 – $135,200 per year (Estimated)
