Job Role: Network Security Engineer

This is a 4-year contract position for a Network Security Engineer with expertise in Zscaler, Palo Alto, and VPN technologies. The role requires a hybrid work model, with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and support Zscaler solutions across all modules in production.
  • Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Firewall security controls, with a preference for Palo Alto.
  • Engineer and support VPN / secure remote access solutions, preferably using Zscaler, Palo Alto, or SecureLink.
  • Provide L3/L4 support for complex security/network issues, driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive actions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to support hybrid delivery requirements (3 days onsite).
  • Handle incidents, changes, upgrades, policy governance, and RCA.

Required Skills:

  • Must-Have Skills:
    • Zscaler L3 Network Security (All modules) – strong hands-on engineering (ZIA/ZPA/ZDX etc.).
    • Palo Alto L3 Firewall.
    • VPN / Remote Access L3: Zscaler / Palo Alto / SecureLink.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in Network Security Engineering with implementation and operations ownership.
    • Proven experience handling incidents/changes, upgrades, policy governance, and RCA.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science (or equivalent).

Certifications:

  • Zscaler certification(s) relevant to network security modules (Mandatory).
  • Palo Alto certification(s) (preferred/required as per demand).
  • VPN/Network Security certifications (good to have).
