Job Summary:
Teamware Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role for a senior professional with over 10 years of experience in network engineering, specifically within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess an active CCIE LAB certification and demonstrate profound expertise in routing, switching, cloud networking, and IPv6. This hybrid onsite position offers the opportunity to work on complex network solutions in either New York, NY, or Alpharetta, GA, focusing on developing and optimizing network infrastructures for campus, data center, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network solutions involving Campus, Data Center, and Cloud environments with both IPv4 and IPv6.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities, identifying various communication scenarios between end and edge devices.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for overall networking and network connectivity, including integration with IoT devices and sensors.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and hands-on experience with IPv4/IPv6 environments, ensuring seamless migration and operation.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in routing and switching protocols, including complex BGP and OSPF troubleshooting.
- Design and troubleshoot network platforms from leading vendors such as Cisco and Arista.
- Work extensively with IP Routing Platforms including ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, and Nexus9K series.
- Implement and manage Multicast technologies, including IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, and RP-Anycast.
- Deploy and maintain Overlay technologies such as IPSEC, DMVPN, and VXLAN.
- Manage cabling and optics for high-speed networks (10/25G/40G/50G/100G), including break-out cables and panels.
- Utilize Ansible for network automation and configuration management (a significant plus).
- Possess strong knowledge of Cisco ISE, TACACS, and DNS/DHCP functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business objectives and security policies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of network engineering practices.
Required Technical/Functional Skills:
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in an enterprise network environment.
- Mandatory active CCIE LAB certification (Routing & Switching or Service Provider). Candidates without this certification will not be considered.
- Expertise in Networking (Routing and Switching), Cloud, and IPv6.
- Excellent knowledge of network protocols including BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree Protocol, and Multicast.
- Proven ability to design and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista Network platforms and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with IP Routing Platforms: ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus9K.
- In-depth knowledge of Multicast: IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast.
- Experience with Overlay technologies like IPSEC, DMVPN, and VXLAN.
- Familiarity with cabling and optics for 10/25G/40G/50G/100G, including break-out cables and panels.
- Strong experience with IPv6.
- Knowledge of Ansible is a huge plus.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting overall networking and network connectivity to IoT devices/sensors.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
