Role Summary

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Analyst to support EHR implementations and upgrades, focusing on behavioral health documentation and treatment planning processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with behavioral health clinicians and familiarity with behavioral health coding and assessment tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelors degree in one of the following: Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems.
    • Masters degree in behavioral health or health informatics is preferred.
  • Experience
    • 3-7 years of experience in behavioral health or healthcare IT.
    • Experience supporting EHR implementations or upgrades.
    • Experience working with behavioral health clinicians.
    • Familiarity with behavioral health documentation and treatment planning processes.
    • Experience implementing or supporting NextGen Healthcare EHR strongly preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
    • NextGen system certifications are preferred when available.
  • Technical Skills
    • Healthcare Systems
      • NextGen Healthcare EHR
      • Behavioral health clinical documentation modules
      • Patient portal tools
      • Care coordination workflows
    • Healthcare Data & Standards
      • Behavioral health coding familiarity: ICD-10 mental health codes, CPT psychotherapy billing codes
      • Clinical assessment tools: PHQ-9, GAD-7, Behavioral risk assessments
    • Tools & Platforms
      • Microsoft Excel
      • Microsoft Visio for workflow documentation
      • Microsoft Teams or collaboration tools
      • Issue tracking platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
