Role Summary: o9 Demand Planning Functional Consultant
Valzo Soft is looking for an experienced o9 Demand Planning Functional Consultant for a high-impact 6-month project based in Seattle, WA. This role requires a deep functional understanding of supply chain planning and the ability to translate complex business needs into technical configurations within the o9 platform. You will act as a lead consultant, guiding stakeholders through the design, testing, and deployment phases of demand planning solutions.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design and configuration of o9 Demand Planning solutions, ensuring alignment with global supply chain strategies.
- Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements, translating them into o9 planning models, hierarchies, and workflows.
- Configure advanced demand forecasting models, managing time buckets, calendars, and versioning logic.
- Implement statistical forecasting, causal forecasting, and demand sensing use cases to improve forecast accuracy.
- Enable collaborative demand planning environments through scenario modeling and ‘what-if’ analysis.
- Define and implement planning KPIs, alerts, and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
- Oversee the creation of functional specifications, solution design documents, and user stories in an Agile environment.
- Manage end-to-end testing cycles, including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT, ensuring the solution meets all business criteria.
- Partner with data engineering teams to validate data ingestion from ERP, POS, and CRM systems.
- Provide L3 functional support and perform root cause analysis for forecast deviations or system issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management.
- At least 4 years specifically focused on Demand Planning and 2+ years of hands-on o9 Functional Consulting.
- Expertise in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management – Distribution modules.
- Deep knowledge of the o9 data model, including measures, scenarios, and hierarchical structures.
- Proven track record of working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and logic issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, or Life Sciences domains.
- o9 Certification or formal implementation experience.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience with legacy planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
