Position Overview: Onbase Developer
Purview Infotech LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Onbase Developer for a long-term contract engagement (12+ months) supporting one of our prestigious clients. This role is critical for the modernization and maintenance of enterprise content management systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Hyland OnBase platform, combined with strong infrastructure and scripting capabilities. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, though candidates in the Phoenix, AZ, or Raleigh, NC areas are preferred for local collaboration opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom OnBase solutions, including Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms.
- Configure and maintain OnBase Document Types, Keywords, and Disk Groups to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Python to automate system tasks and integrate OnBase with external applications.
- Manage Linux-based environments where OnBase components or integrated services reside, utilizing command-line tools for troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with networking teams to ensure secure and efficient communication across TCP/IP, DNS, and SSH protocols.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for OnBase configurations and custom code using Git version control.
- Work closely with cloud platform teams (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support the migration and hosting of content management services.
- Ensure all developments adhere to security best practices and organizational compliance standards.
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime for business users.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an OnBase Developer with a focus on enterprise-level implementations.
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems and shell scripting (Bash).
- Hands-on experience with Python for automation and integration purposes.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls and secure shell protocols.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools like Git and Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
