Role Overview
Prophecy Techs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenText Exstream Consultant/Architect to lead a critical modernization and migration project. This role is pivotal in transitioning in-house composition capabilities to the OpenText Exstream platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the Exstream platform, including building, installing, and configuring the environment to support a wide array of business needs such as batch processing, real-time communications, and interactive letters, quotes, and proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex customer requirements to design robust solution architectures and integration strategies for OpenText Exstream solutions.
- Lead a team of Exstream resources and partner consultants in the successful implementation of enterprise-grade CCM solutions.
- Evaluate infrastructure needs, specifically comparing cloud versus on-premise deployments, and design High Availability (HA) solution architectures.
- Manage the migration of composition workloads from third-party vendors to the internal Exstream platform, including the redesign of legacy templates.
- Design and implement integration projects involving the orchestration of publishing tasks, logging optimization, fault detection, and error handling.
- Consult and train clients on the deployment of the Exstream product set, including Design Manager, Communication Builder, and OTDS.
- Configure and integrate advanced components such as Exstream Empower, Content Author, Adobe eSign, and Communication Server/Orchestrator.
- Utilize Workshop, Supervisor, ReTouch, and StoryTeller for comprehensive document management and notification services.
- Perform performance tuning and system optimization to ensure high-volume delivery across omni-channel platforms including mobile, print, and email.
- Integrate Exstream with CRM systems and other custom enterprise applications to streamline business workflows.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with OpenText Exstream (formerly HP Exstream) architecture and implementation.
- Proven track record in architecting high-availability, high-volume CCM solutions.
- Deep understanding of OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) and integration with various delivery mechanisms.
- Expertise in AWS Cloud Platform and modern DevOps concepts.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and integration tasks.
- Familiarity with other CCM products such as xPression, Quadient Inspire, SmartComm, or Messagepoint is a significant plus.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure evaluation and performance tuning within the Exstream ecosystem.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
