Job Overview

The client is seeking an experienced Operations Software Analyst to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work model, with a balance of remote and onsite work. The primary work location is New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain AVEVA MES applications across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Participate in the implementation of new MES functionality, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and reports to support production.
  • Troubleshoot MES issues and coordinate resolutions with internal and external resources.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure the effective adoption of the system.
  • Assist in integrating MES with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Travel up to 50% to support site deployments, user engagement, and training activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with MES systems.
  • Proficiency with SQL (queries, views, and data analysis).
  • Experience with programming languages and scripting (e.g., vb.net, C#, Aveva Qick Script, Python).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with end users, technical teams, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to manufacturing sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA MES.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, process data, or production performance metrics.
  • Experience integrating MES with an ERP/WMS or other business systems.
