Role Overview: Senior BizOps Engineer (Oracle EBS R12)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BizOps Engineer to lead our Oracle Apps Finance Technical initiatives in O’Fallon, MO. This is a hybrid role requiring three days of on-site presence per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end support and DevOps enablement of Oracle EBS R12 financial modules, ensuring that our global financial systems remain stable, scalable, and highly integrated with third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Production Support & Issue Resolution: Provide comprehensive day-to-day production support for Oracle EBS R12 applications. This includes complex issue triage, deep-dive root-cause analysis, and the resolution of critical system bottlenecks across modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Procurement.
- Technical Solution Design: Translate intricate business requirements into scalable, DevOps-ready technical solutions. You will lead the development of customizations, complex reports, data conversions, and seamless integrations with third-party tools including Boomi, Edicom, Oracle ISG, APRO, Noetix, and GL Wand.
- Automation & DevOps Enablement: Implement and manage robust CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Bitbucket. You will collaborate closely with Development, Functional, and DBA teams to automate build and deployment pipelines, reducing manual intervention and increasing deployment frequency.
- System Monitoring & Performance: Proactively monitor batch jobs, concurrent programs, and R12 workflows. Utilize observability tools like Splunk and Dynatrace to create dashboards that provide real-time insights into system health and performance.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain rigorous technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), data-fix scripts, and deployment playbooks. Ensure all system changes comply with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Required Technical Expertise
- Core Oracle Skills: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 Technical support. Mastery of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, and inbound/outbound interface development.
- Development Tools: Proficiency in Oracle Web ADI, Oracle Forms, Forms Personalization, AME (Approvals Management Engine), and Oracle Workflow.
- Reporting & Analytics: Extensive experience with BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and Noetix reporting solutions.
- Infrastructure & Ops: Strong command of Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and tools such as WinSCP, PuTTY, TOAD, and SQL Developer.
- Collaboration Tools: Expert-level use of JIRA for task tracking, Confluence for documentation, and SharePoint for team collaboration.
Professional Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of managing stakeholders across cross-functional teams. You must be able to lead technical initiatives independently while fostering a collaborative environment. Experience managing Oracle Support Service Requests (SRs) and participating in Oracle Web Conferences (OWC) is essential for success in this role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
