Role Overview
VBeyond Corporation is looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Test Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a local position in Houston, TX. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM modules and a proven track record in quality assurance and testing within large-scale ERP environments. As an SME, you will be responsible for leading the testing strategy, ensuring that all modules—including Compensation, Payroll, and Core HR—function seamlessly and meet the complex business requirements of our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including Compensation, Payroll, Core HR, and ORC.
- Develop comprehensive, detail-oriented test plans and test cases based on product specifications and business requirements.
- Execute advanced functional and regression tests, documenting all issues in a centralized log and verifying software corrections.
- Provide deep functional expertise across Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules, specifically focusing on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Zephyr to manage testing tasks and track progress against deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate test results, identify potential risks, and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across modules, focusing on speed and attention to detail during execution.
- Support the Learning and Talent modules of Oracle HCM as needed during the testing phases.
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will have 10-12 years of specialized experience in Oracle Cloud HCM testing. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. You must demonstrate excellent articulation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable insights for business stakeholders. Expertise in Agile testing frameworks and a strong understanding of financial integration points within the Oracle ecosystem are essential for this role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
