Job Description: Oracle CPQ Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Consultant to join our team for a remote contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end CPQ implementation and support, with a strong understanding of Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud applications and concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end CPQ implementation and support projects.
  • Gather requirements from Sales Users and Stakeholders, and prepare templates based on these requirements.
  • Design, configure, and implement Oracle CPQ Cloud applications.
  • Deliver large-scale projects and lead a team of consultants.
  • Provide hands-on experience in Configuration, Commerce, Document Engine, and Integration.
  • Write BML and BMQL code to cover complex business use cases.
  • Develop CPQ Solution Designs and Technical Designs, including layout and configuration of the CPQ implementation and related applications.
  • Implement third-party integrations and customized solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to address business needs.
  • Adhere to CPQ implementation best practices and standard documentation.
  • Document delivered solutions throughout the engagement.
  • Gather, analyze, internalize, and advocate for customer requirements around their selling processes.
  • Develop solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Integrate Oracle CPQ with CRM/ERP systems such as OSC, Salesforce, MS D365, and Order Management systems like EBS, JDE, and other third-party applications.
  • Work with web services standards and technologies including WSDL, SOAP, REST, XSL.
  • Ensure quality-driven deliverables from the team.
  • Contribute to team building and training initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 5-10 years of experience specifically with Oracle CPQ.
  • Minimum of 2 end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementations.
  • Expertise in Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud applications and concepts.
  • Proficiency in BML and BMQL code.
  • Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Integration experience with CRM/ERP systems (OSC, Salesforce, MS D365, EBS, JDE).
  • Experience with web services standards (WSDL, SOAP, REST, XSL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CPQ implementation best practices.
  • Experience in writing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and documentation.
  • Experience in team building and training.

Good to Have:

  • Oracle CPQ certified Implementation Specialist.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
