Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Developer for a long-term contract engagement in Irving, TX. This onsite position requires a technical expert with over 7 years of experience in the Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly Big Machines) platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing the CPQ application to streamline the sales-to-order process. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of the quoting engine and ensuring seamless data flow between CPQ and other enterprise systems like Salesforce.
Technical Expertise
The core of this role involves deep technical knowledge of the Oracle CPQ architecture. Candidates must be proficient in BML (Big Machines Extensible Language) and BMQL for implementing complex business logic.
- Extensive experience with Configuration, Commerce, and Document Engine.
- Advanced skills in Document Designer and Quote Management.
- Proficiency in managing Data Tables and complex Integrations.
- Expertise in Web Services, including XML, XSL, SOAP, and REST.
- Ability to set up Workflows, Profiles, and Approval Processes.
Key Responsibilities
The Oracle CPQ Developer will lead the technical execution of CPQ enhancements and maintenance. This includes writing Recommendation, Hiding, and Constraint rules to guide sales users through the product selection process.
- Developing and maintaining BML scripts for dynamic pricing and configuration logic.
- Integrating Oracle CPQ Cloud with Salesforce CRM to ensure synchronized data.
- Designing and implementing Transition Rules and Approval Steps.
- Optimizing the Document Engine for professional, accurate quote generation.
- Troubleshooting integration modules and resolving data discrepancies.
Professional Requirements
This role is restricted to visa-independent candidates, including US Citizens, Green Card holders, and those with EAD status (H4, L2). A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required to ensure a strong foundational understanding of software development principles.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on Oracle CPQ experience.
- Strong analytical skills for debugging complex BML logic.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business partners.
- Proven track record of successful CPQ implementations.
The project offers a 12-month initial duration with a high likelihood of extension, providing a stable and challenging environment for a senior CPQ professional.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 per year (Estimated)
