Position Overview
Quantum World Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Developer and Technical Lead for a high-priority onsite engagement in Irving, Texas. This role is specifically supporting a project for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). We are looking for a seasoned professional with over 7 years of specialized experience in the Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly Big Machines) ecosystem. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of the project, ensuring best practices in software engineering, and mentoring junior team members.
Core Technical Competencies
- Extensive experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud Configuration, Commerce, and Document Engine.
- Proficiency in Document Designer, Quote Management, and Data Tables.
- Expert-level skills in BML (Big Machines Extensible Language) and BMQL for complex business logic.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, specifically connecting Oracle CPQ with Salesforce.
- Hands-on experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, and XSL transformations.
- Ability to set up complex Workflows, Profiles, and Approval Processes with Transition Rules.
- Experience writing Recommendation, Hiding, and Constraint rules for configured items.
Leadership and Responsibilities
- Lead the system design process by applying emerging software engineering patterns and best practices.
- Produce high-quality application code with a focus on productivity and scalability.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including system design documents and deployment plans.
- Drive quality assurance through design reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration to ensure defect-free delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across onshore, onsite, and offshore teams.
- Provide weekly status reports, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Professional Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Beyond technical prowess, this role requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English. You must be comfortable presenting technical solutions to both IT and business teams. Experience in project planning, reporting, and team mentoring is essential for the Tech Lead designation.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
