Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to manage and maintain our Oracle database systems. This role requires a strong understanding of database administration, performance tuning, and data integrity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases and a proven track record of ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software.
- Monitor database performance and tune for optimal efficiency.
- Implement and manage database security measures.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Develop and maintain database documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and schema design.
- Ensure data integrity and availability.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and features.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Experience working in Florida.
- Relevant Oracle certifications are a plus.
