Job Description: Oracle Database Administration
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with a strong background in managing and optimizing Oracle databases. This role requires hands-on experience with various Oracle versions and advanced features like GoldenGate, RMAN, and Data Guard. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performance tuning, security, and scripting for automation. A solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Administer Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Performance Tuning: Utilize AWR reports, SQL tuning, and optimizer strategies to enhance database performance.
- High Availability: Configure and manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard for disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Oracle Data Pump.
- GoldenGate: Experience with Oracle GoldenGate for replication and data integration.
- Security: Manage user security, roles, privileges, and implement encryption measures.
- Scripting: Develop Shell scripts for automation of routine tasks and database maintenance.
- OS Knowledge: Basic administration of Linux/Unix systems.
- Patching and Upgrades: Apply PSU/CPU patches and perform version upgrades.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues with strong problem-solving skills.
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based Oracle solutions.
- Knowledge of database security best practices.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools.
This is a hybrid role located in Arizona, requiring a candidate who can work onsite as needed.

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
