Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Business Systems Analyst with a specialization in Cost Management to join our team. This role is crucial for leading the gathering and documenting of functional requirements, formulating solution designs, and ensuring the effective configuration and integration of the Oracle EBS system to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Costing processes, Bills of Materials, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management within Oracle EBS R12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the gathering and documenting of functional requirements through workshops and interviews.
  • Formulate solution designs based on documented functional requirements.
  • Provide expertise with Costing processes, including metal adders, overheads, and other cost-related configurations.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of Bills of Materials, Cost Management, and Inventory processes within Oracle e-business suite.
  • Configure the Oracle EBS system to meet specific business needs, focusing on Cost Management functionalities.
  • Understand Procurement processes and manage price variances.
  • Assist with System Integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for application testing.
  • Promote and adhere to best practices for application creation and optimized parameter settings.
  • Utilize strong communication skills and customer-facing abilities to drive requirements gathering, workshops, and solutioning discussions.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to costing and inventory valuation.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Cost Management modules.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a functional analyst, specifically with Oracle EBS R12.
  • At least one full lifecycle implementation experience with Oracle EBS.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and conduct discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops to define business requirements and scope.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cost Management modules (including Cost Accounting), WIP, Inventory, and BOM.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of how Cost Management integrates with Purchasing, Order Management, Payables, and General Ledger.
  • Functional expertise with month-end closing, inventory valuation, costing methods, and variance analysis.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year

Location: Attleboro, MA
